Rolled out as the lead release from Styles’ third album, ‘Harry’s House’ (due May 20), the track launched in pole position and reigned for one week before ceding the position to last week’s leader, ‘First Class’ by Jack Harlow.
On this week’s tally, the pair swap places, with Harlow slipping to #2 and Styles ascending from that spot.
In climbing back to #1, ‘As It Was’ becomes the performer’s first multi-week chart-topper – following his one-week reign with ‘Watermelon Sugar’ in 2020.
The former One Direction singer returned to the top spot with the following in the U.S:
- 30 million streams (the best streaming week for any artist thus far in 2022)
- 43.2 million radio airplay audience impressions
- 8,400 digital downloads
Styles’ latest win follows his seismic headlining showing at Coachella 2022.
