With NAACP Image Awards, Soul Train Awards, GRAMMYs, Billboard chart hits, and accolades from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Jazmine Sullivan‘s ‘Heaux Tales’ is penciled in the singer’s narrative as her most industry-recognized yet.
And, as evidenced by recent updates from the RIAA, that story is still adding chapters.
More inside.
On Tuesday (April 13), the RIAA took to press to announce Jazmine Sullivan and Ari Lennox‘s duet, ‘On It’ (featured on ‘Tales’) had been certified GOLD for sales of 500,00 in the United States.
Coming as the third RIAA-certified single of Sullivan’s career, the new plaque shines as Lennox’s fourth following her hits ‘BMO,’ ‘Shea Butter Baby,’ and ‘Whipped Cream.’
Look below to see how Jaz responded to the news.
