The global health crisis forced James Corden‘s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ into what many feared would be a permanent parking spot.
However, as reported here, ‘The Late Late Show’ phenomenon has finally revved up its engines again after a 2-year hiatus.
Rolling on to screens Wednesday (April 6), Rap Queen Nicki Minaj was tapped to assist with the wildly popular segment’s royal return to television.
“The entire afternoon that we spent together, I was so happy to be in her orbit and her company and I really, really loved being with her,” Corden said of his time with the GRAMMY nominee. “It was so joyous.”
Cranking out rocking renditions of her hits ‘Starships,’ ‘Super Bass,’ ‘Anaconda,’ and much more, hop inside to see how Minaj helped get the show back in gear.
13 + YEARS IN THE GAME QUEENS STILL RACKING UP TOP HITS ON BILLBOARD! STILL INFLUENCING THE GIRLS! STILL IN THE HEADLINES!!!! HATE ON THE QUEEN ALL YOU WANT BUT SHES STILL HERE AND SHES SLAYING ANY RAP BTCH THATS OUT NOW! BOTCHED-I. MANLY MEG. DOJA RAT. SAWEEGENERIC. REMY GORILLA. FATTO AND CITY HOOKERS. AND ANY
* INSERT DUMB BASIC NAME HERE* DOLL 🦄🦄🦄
The only person on that list she can’t out rap is Remy. And it’s ok to admit it. Nonetheless, Nicki is still on the list of all time greatest female rappers.
lol idk who lied to you, but history shows otherwise. remy ma is DEFINITELY not a better rapper than Nicki Minaj 😂 keep dreaming babe 🌙 😴
Let’s talk about it. In terms of mainstream success and popularity, of course Nicki wins! But bar for bar, she can’t go toe to toe with Remy.
that’s exactly what i’m referring to, bar for bar. please if you can, show me an example where remy ate nicki when it comes to bars. and pls don’t say shether 😂
Written raps Nicki would be better, battle rapping Remy would win. but if it was a written bars competition Nicki would body Remy Ma. Remy is a better battle rapper..
Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’ becomes the first album by a female rapper to spend 4 consecutive years on Billboard 200

cardi doesn’t even like you. she hates her fans and thinks y’all are a bunch of dumbasses who can suck a dïck 😂 words from the horses mouth
This is a fun watch. After hearing super bass and starships (I really never paid attention when they came out), I’m just now realizing that she was really out there doing pop star sh*t.
Making white pop songs add that
@dc you mad huh? Can doja do pop too? Now latto?
nicki set the bar. that’s why regardless of what happens, she’s ALWAYS gonna be brought up or compared. let’s face it, the rap game is dead and boring without her. especially female rap. haters can say what they want, but all these other btchs are doing are endorsement cheeto deals and baby shark videos 🤣 no real rap music or excitement without queen nicki
I’m so effin glad she reminded the world of how FUN she can be, and didn’t shy away from her massive pop hits.
That’s what seems to have been missing from her in recent years;
I feel like ever since Cardi came on the scene Nicki has felt the need to prove she’s hard, but I’m like,
“Nicki, the world fell in Love with you because you were FUN, bubbly, and magnetic!!!”.
Don’t be ashamed of that!
She’s proved she can go in and murder it like a beast, but her true star power shines when she’s feeling light and enjoying herself.
I wish she wouldn’t be ashamed of those pop aspects.
Let’s get rid of this mentality that to be a real respected rapper you always have to be serious, deep, and hard.
You can be multidimensional!
@Blaine – That was a really nice, well worded comment.
Thanks @HelloKitty,
I appreciate the compliment and your kindness 🙂
It’s legitimately a breathe of fresh air as in recent years this comment section has turned into a cesspool of negativity filled with a handful of people throwing the same vile, racist, garbage comments at each other over and over in an attempt to obtain some pathetic form of “comment section notoriety”, which honestly turns so many visitors off from wanting to engage in actual content related conversations…and that’s a bummer because the comment section could be a place for actual on topic discussions about things happening in the urban pop world.
Anyhow, sorry to rant. I just think it’d be rad for this comment section to become on topic again and less about volatile personal attacks/threats.
