Halsey is speaking out.
The ‘Without Me’ singer has now opened up in further detail over their drama with their record label.
More details below…
Last night, Halsey took to TikTok to reveal that their label won’t let them release a new song unless it goes viral on the social media platform (as we reported here).
Now, they have continued to share a new insight to the situation, this time via Twitter.
“Talked to my label tonight after my tiktok tantrum. They said “wow the tiktok is going really strong!” I was like ok cool so can I release my song now? They said “we’ll see! Tell me again how I’m making this up.”
I’ve been minding my own business on tour taking care of my baby. Four albums deep. Coasting. I’m way too established to stir something like this up for no reason or resort to this as a marketing tactic but now I’m in too deep so there’s no going back.”

The news of Halsey’s situation comes after other artists have shared similar sentiments. Previously, Charli XCX shared similar thoughts and most recently, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine also encountered a similar situation.
G-East’s baby mama wanna be 💅🏾 This reject is dramatic as hell
Established? Has she heard her discography? 3 hits doesn’t make you established sweetie. These new artists wouldn’t have lasted in the 90’s
Are you talking about Normanly? She has 3 hits too but all songs were just guest feature. 💅🏾
Who??
Let me check w/ Google…
