New Song: Rina Sawayama – ‘This Hell’

Published: Wednesday 18th May 2022 by Ryan

After much anticipation, it is finally here.

Case in point, Rina Sawayama has finally unleashed her highly-anticipated new single, ‘This Hell.’

Serving as the lead single for her sophomore album ‘Hold The Girl,’ the tune is all about rejecting the attacks and persecution from religious hate groups and the media.

Across the song, she sings:

This hell is better with you / We’re burning up together / Baby, that makes two / ‘Cause the devil’s wearing Prada / And loves a little drama.

‘Hold The Girl’ is set to serve as the follow-up to her acclaimed ‘Sawayama’ album. It featured notable tracks like ‘Tokyo Love Hotel,’ ‘Bad Friend,’ ‘XS,’ ‘Dynasty,’ and more.
