Fresh from topping iTunes in over 40 countries with her new single ‘Break My Soul,’ Queen Bey has made an almighty splash on Spotify with the dancefloor jam.
The first-day streaming sums have been tallied and bring with it confirmation that ‘Soul’ – which was produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart – generated a whopping 5.145 million streams on the platform.
In doing so, it debuts at #5 on Spotify’s global chart.
Most notably, the figure means Beyonce has earned the biggest debut for a solo song by a female artist in 2022. A slay!
‘Break My Soul’ has been issued as the lead offering from the diva’s seventh studio album ‘Renaissance’ (due July 29).
