This week saw the couple, who have been together for 11-years and have two sons together, trend online all week amidst reports of a split and rumors of infidelity.
Now, Shakira (45) and Pique (35) have issued a joint statement confirming that they are indeed going their separate ways.
Short and to the point, it read:
“We regret to confirm that we are separating.
For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.”
