The Afrobeats titan mounted a major push for his latest effort and was in contention for the top spot on the Offical UK Album Chart.
However, with the final tally counted and verified, it was Harry Style’s ‘Harry’s House’ that snatched another week at #1 on the coveted count.
Still, in opening at #2, ‘Love, Damini’ earns GRAMMY-winner Burna his highest-charting album to date.
Fuelled by the global popularity of single ‘Last Last,’ the LP – which features the likes of Ed Sheeran and J Hus – bests Burna’s previous entries on the top 40 – 2019’s ‘African Giant’ (#16) and 2020’s ‘Twice As Tall’ (#11).
Meanwhile, on the Official UK Singles Chart, ‘Last Last’ jumps five spots to #7 and in the process has become the superstar’s fourth UK top 10.
Congrats across the board!
