In the latest incarnation of Billboard‘s Pop Airplay chart, Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’ reaches #1 for the first time ever.
This week, the song has risen two spots to claim the #1 spot from Jack Harlow‘s ‘First Class.’ In order to do so, ‘About Damn Time’ received 18,747 spins during the June 26-July 2 tracking period, besting last week’s count by 1,040.
‘About Damn Time’ also reached a new peak of #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The news of its chart rise comes as Lizzo is set to release her fourth studio album, ‘Special,’ which is due out on July 15. The project will be her first since 2019’s ‘Cuz I Love You’
