Sources say the track is set to be released by Universal Music next month.
An industry insider said of the collaboration: “This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible.”
The further continued by saying: “Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”
The insider said that the label is “freaking out it is so good” and that it is defiantly the “song of the summer.”
A specific date for the collaboration has not been released as of now. However, this would be the first new music from Spears since the end of her conservatorship.
