Although Iggy Azalea swore off new musical endeavors this time last year with the unexpected announcement of her retirement, the ‘Mo Bounce’ hitmaker is ready to bounce back onto the music scene in more ways than one as evidenced by her tweets over the last month.

At the top of August Azalea sent her fans, affectionately called #Azaleans, into a frenzy when she revealed she’s coming out of retirement to put work toward her next body of work – the follow-up to 2021’s critically acclaimed ‘End of An Era.’

The revelation came as the 32-year-old is being showered with rave reviews for how she’s served legs, hips, body, and hits as the opening act aboard fellow rapper Pitbull‘s ‘Can’t Stop Us Now’ tour.

When an eager fan questioned why she won’t break off and do her own thing on a global scale, she first suggested she wasn’t ready.

“I’m not interested in headlining my own tour right now. I’m still really enjoying getting my confidence back on stage without all the extra pressure. And I love learning from pitbull because he’s great at speaking with the crowd, It’s good experience for me,” the GRAMMY nominee replied.

As the praise continued to roll in, however, Iggy somewhat changed her tune to suggest a headlining jaunt is in her future (possibly after her new project drops).

“I def will do my own tour soon but right now I just have a lot to rebuild & im enjoying it all so I see no rush,” she shared.

At writing, Iggy Iggz has not attached any tentative dates to the trek or the album (or EP) it will support.

The news comes just days after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to press (August 24) to reveal her 2019 single ‘Sally Walker’ was certified GOLD – meaning it’s sold the equivalence of 500,000 units in the United States.
