Just a day after the kick off of his globe-trotting ‘To the Moon World Tour,’ rapper Kid Cudi kicked off his draws for a jaw-dropping nude spread inside the pages of the latest print of ‘Esquire.’
Under the lens of famed photographer Norman Jean Roy, the GRAMMY winner – when not being snapped wearing Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and other designer duds – turned heads when he struck a pose rocking only a Dior sock around his manhood.
The growing chatter that photo got on social media is only matched by the equally sizzling quotes from the feature’s accompanying interview.
Look inside to see what we mean.
Cudi may have spent most of his time with the men’s mag dishing on his forthcoming tour, music, acting plans, and more, but the standout quotes certainly came when discussing his former mentor Kanye West.
As previously reported, the two fell out after West dropped him from the ‘Donda 2’ album for being friends with actor-comedian Pete Davidson – the former boyfriend of Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
During his chat with ‘Esquire,’ the ‘Day N Nite’ rapper made it clear as day there’s a very slim chance he will ever reconcile with Yeezy.
“With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s about to take a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their beef is squashed. That’s not me. What I say, I mean. I will be done with you. It’s gonna take a motherfucking miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He gon’ have to become a monk,” Kid said.
He elaborated on the point later in the interview.
“The twisted thing is that I love him, but I love you so much that I can kick you the fuck out of my life and be done with your ass. ’Cause you are not good for me. I love myself more. I love myself more,” he shared before later stating, “I didn’t love myself all them years you knew me,” he continued. “I love myself more now, bro. I love myself way more.”
The Drake mention – which refers to years of beef the Canadian rapper held with West (as we reported here) – earned a side-eye from his fans, many of whom perceived it to be a diss from Cudi.
Once news of the brewing backlash landed on his desk, the latter took to Twitter to clear the air.
“Just to be clear, I wasnt tryna throw a shot at Drake. I got love 4 him,” he said about the ‘Hotline Bling’ star. “My point I was tryna make is that im not so forgiving. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake.”

lmao…I think not 🤭🤭🤭🤭
Wait…? It sounds like he went through a rough breakup??
Yesss!
He said: Drake is no good for him.
I never knew him and Drake were so close.
Dickk is the new titties.
If they’ve fallen out over Kanye being upset over Kudi’s friendship with that Pete guy, then that’s quite petty, especially to say he’d never befriend him again over that.
