Madonna is proving she is the queen of the charts once more.
For, she is on her way to a major milestone in the United Kingdom.
Taking to press, the Official Charts Company announced that Madonna’s album ‘Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones’ is duking it out with Steps‘ album ‘Platinum Collection’ for this week’s top album in the country.
If Madonna were to claim the #1 spot from Steps, then she would score her thirteenth chart-topper in the country. Moreover, if she claims the top spot, then she would join Robbie Williams and Elvis Presley as the act with the second most #1 albums in the country. Only the Beatles have more with 15 #1 albums.
‘Finally Enough Love’ celebrates Madonna’s history-making run on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, where she has a record 50 #1 songs.
The official results will be posted on August 26.
