Calls for iconic R&B boy bands Jodeci and Dru Hill to face off in a #VERZUZ battle have rang out for almost as long as the Timbaland and Swizz Beatz-helmed platform has been “a thing.”
Debate about who would take home the crown if the groups ever dueled hit a feverish pitch over the summer, leading the latter’s lead singer, Sisqo, to add his two cents to the ongoing conversation recently.
Look inside to hear what the 43-year-old had to say about the matter.
After a talk about the topic was reignited thanks to social media comedian KevOnStage via a video and tweet (as seen above), Sisqo took to the net to make clear he not only thought Dru Hill could “hang” but that they would be the victors if ever challenged to a VERZUZ.
Needless to say, the ‘Got to Get It’ hitmaker’s assessment got under the skin of Jodeci fans.
“We love Jodeci, but yeah, it’s definitely a massacre,” Sisqo said. “Don’t do it. Don’t do it. You don’t want that smoke.”

The taunt comes nearly a year after Dru Hill first challenged Jodeci and Boyz II Men to appear as competition on the VERZUZ platform.
As of time reported, no official plans have been announced to make it happen.
