DJ Khaled has all the cause to give thanks this Sunday. Because the hitmaker has premiered atop of the pack with his star-studded new album, ‘God Did’.
Led by the single ‘Staying Alive (ft. Drake and Lil Baby),’ the guest-friendly set is packed to the brim with major appearances from the likes of JAY-Z, Future, Eminem, Latto, and the City Girls.
And it’s clear the mix of names, along with Khaled’s Midas touch, has led to a strong opening for the project.

‘God Did’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with the following equivalent US sales:
107,500
Of that sum, 96,000 units were amassed via streaming (from 129.82 million on-demand streams of the album’s tracks. Pure album sales comprise 9,500.
With ‘God Did, Khaled lands his 10th top 10 album and fourth #1. His chart-toppers are ‘Khaled Khaled.’ (2021), ‘Grateful’ (2017), and ‘Major Key’ (2016).

The answer is probably Arab money, he probably fooled some rich ones from the rich golf countries to invest in him, telling them he has connections in Hollywood and also fooled Hollywood to think he has connections in those rich Arab countries. Both sides took the bait which eventually made him rich and have connections.
He is probably the connection that all of his collaborators want to the rich Arab countries and the Muslim world because it’s a big market.

There’s no way he produces anything himself. “No Brainer” was basically a re-hash of the beat from Natalie LaRose’s Somebody but everyone know they was no sample credit there.
