And the latest comes in the form of the video for her collaborative take on ‘The Roof’ with Brandy.
The pair’s incarnation of the much-loved jam features on the freshly unwrapped ‘Butterfly [25th Anniversary Edition]’ alongside rare live versions, remixes, and more.
Speaking on the duet, Mimi said:
“The Roof” Is one of my favorite songs from #Butterfly, so when we decided to redo it in The Butterfly Lounge, I had to ask one of my favorite singers ever, Miss Brandy to sing it with me!”
Brandy added:

Duet? This can hardly be called a duet. She barely used Brandy and certainly did not feature her vocals in a significant way. She only had Brandy do very minor background vocals that are barely noticeable. Brandy is too big of a vocalist to allow herself to be reduced in this way. Not what I was expecting at all.
