After watching her breakthrough single, 2021’s ‘Hrs & Hrs,’ spend weeks and weeks atop Billboard R&B singles charts, singer-songwriter Muni Long saw its previously overlooked parent project – ‘Public Displays of Affection‘ – soar to #21 on the Billboard R&B album chart.
Capitalization on the track’s popularity not only came via a slew of televised live performances, but also via the release of a conceptual follow-up to its parent EP, ‘Public Displays of Affection Too,’ on July 1.
Now, Long is elongating her breakthrough era again – this time combining the ‘PDA’ EPs into one, 18-track package courtesy of the September 23-released ‘Public Displays of Affection: the Album.’
Stream it inside thanks to Apple Music and Spotify.
Arriving via Long’s Supergiant Records imprint (developed in partnership with Def Jam), the LP features ‘Hrs & Hrs’ as well as previously released cuts ‘Baby Boo’ (featuring Saweetie), ‘Pain,’ ‘No R&B,’ and ‘Another’ as well as five new songs.
