Published: Tuesday 11th Oct 2022 by Sam

Ciara serves pretty in pink on the cover of Allure Magazine‘s November issue.

The stage blazer’s appearance comes amidst ample activity in her ever-growing empire. Indeed, last month she launched a beauty range named On A Mission and she more recently unlocked her brand new single ‘Better Thangs’ with Summer Walker.

The latter is lifted from CiCi’s incoming eighth studio album – her first since 2019’s ‘Beauty Marks.’

On Her New Album:

“From my perspective as an artist. I feel like it’s closest to my first album. It’s a lot of bass. There’s a strong R&B core, which is also really fun.”

On Launching A New Beauty Brand In A Busy Market:

“Honestly, I don’t really think about what everyone else is doing so much because I know the uniqueness of my product. You look around and you’re starting to see more women building out their beauty brands. I think that’s pretty amazing because it shows the power of how you can really build something if you desire to, and it’s also showing you the power of your platform. It’s been amazing to see how women have been taking charge and flipping the way we thought we always had to go through someone to do something. No, you can do it yourself.

Continued:

“I think that’s a really beautiful thing that’s happening. As far as the competitive part of it, all I know is what I built, and I know what I built is something special, and I believe in that. I think whenever something is right, if people receive it, it rises on its own way.”
