Death of Davido & Chioma’s 3-Year-Old Son Ifeanyi Confirmed by Lagos Police

In tragic news, the death of Davido‘s 3-year-old son Ifeanyi has been confirmed by Lagos Police.

Murmurs began circulating online about the youngster – whose mom is the Afrobeat’s star’s longtime love Chioma Rowland – allegedly drowning in a pool at the family home in Banana Island, Lagos State.

And now the harrowing news has been verified.

Police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin issued the following statement:

“It is true, the child is dead. About eight people were brought in for questioning and we are investigating the matter. Anyone found culpable in the death of the child would be arrested.”

It’s been claimed that neither parent was at the residence at the time of the child’s death and those being questioned are believed to be workers at the house in Nigeria.

As of writing, neither Davido nor Chioma has spoken out about the tragedy. However, a host of stars – both in Nigeria and beyond – have taken to social media to offer their condolences.

Davido and Chioma celebrated Ifeanyi’s third birthday just two weeks ago.
