Kelly Rowland Reveals New Music in the Works, Reflects on Peter Rosenberg Drama: “Everyone Deserves Grace”

Published: Monday 21st Nov 2022 by Rashad

Kelly Rowland has had quite the week.

While hot on the promo trail for the November 25 premiere of her new Paramount+ film, ‘Fantasy Football,’ the singer-actress nearly had to put her foot up the a** of Peter Rosenberg for saying she’s “played second to Beyonce her entire career.

After she checked him in person, her faithful supporters took to Twitter to continue dragging the Hot 97 DJ – prompting him to impart multiple apologies. And while Kelly has yet to directly address the apology, she did thank fans for holding her down throughout the ordeal.

That gratitude was reiterated Sunday night (November 20) while the 41-year-old stunned on the red carpet of the American Music Awards.

Chatting it up with Access Hollywood, the GRAMMY winner reflected on the Rosenberg showdown.

“Sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason to why certain things are asked, and I think that in that time you handle it with grace.  I think that everybody deserves grace,” she said at the 2:17 mark of the video above. “I think when they don’t know sometimes you have to express how you feel, but [do it with] grace because everyone deserves grace.”

That’s not all she dished on.

When quizzed about when her patient fans, affectionately called #RowlandStones, can expect the follow-up to 2021’s ‘K’ EP, the diva gave a hopeful response.

“I know [folks are asking about new music], but I’m releasing ‘Fantasy Football’ right now,” she said laughing before later continuing, “I’m really enjoying movies, but, of course, still making music.”

The interview came just moments before Kelly made headlines for garnering boos for praising Chris Brown at the AMAs just a day after the award show reportedly axed his Michael Jackson tribute.
