SZA has unleashed ‘SOS’ – her second studio album.
Led by the optimistic ‘Good Days,’ the set sees SZA explore themes of self-reflection, relationships, and more.
That Grape Juice has been spinning the LP since its release. Join us below to find out which five tracks are essential on ‘SOS.’
5. Conceited
When coming up with a top 5 list for an album like ‘SOS,’ it can be difficult to decipher which songs should make the cut. However, when tracks are as self-assured and confident as ‘Conceited,’ they are an automatic list-maker. Poised and unbothered, SZA is truly in her element with this one.

4. Good Days
Lead singles tell a lot about a project and with ‘Good Days,’ SZA truly sets the tone for what fans can expect from ‘SOS.’ Across the track, she reflects on a former love, soul searching, and rejoicing in freedom, all elements found on ‘SOS.’ Nevertheless, where ‘Good Days’ truly excels is its guitar-tinged riffs and soothing vocals. A song that could easily be found on ‘CTRL,’ ‘Good Days’ blends elements of classic SZA, but with a fresh perspective on life.

3. Ghost In The Machine
2022 has brought many events that nobody could have seen coming, one such one is a SZA and Phoebe Bridgers collaboration. However, this collaboration feels effortless, natural in almost every way. Both SZA and Phoebe Bridgers dive headfirst into their emotions, expressing them across downtempo production. If there is one thing that ‘Ghost in the Machine’ proves, it’s that unexpected surprises can be welcome gifts.

2. F2F
There are a lot of firsts across ‘SOS’ and ‘F2F’ is one such first. On the tune, SZA goes full rock star with this pop-punk anthem that is more reminiscent of an Avril Lavigne song than anything SZA has made before. However, SZA just as at home than any of her peers in that genre. With the song’s high energy, SZA proves that even sad girls can double as bad b*tchs too.

1. Nobody Gets Me
Another experimental track from SZA, she jumps from the high-flying guitars of ‘F2F’ to the waltz-like romance of Mazzy Star on ‘Nobody Gets Me.’ Heartbreakingly honest, ‘Nobody Gets Me’ is SZA at some of her most raw and vulnerable as she is forced to look in the mirror and see the relationship for what it is. A true masterclass, ‘Nobody Gets Me’ alone would solidify SZA as one of this generation’s brightest minds.
