Police have made a breakthrough in the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff.
As reported, the 28-year-old was killed in a shootout at a party he attended with bandmate Quavo in Houston on November 1.
Now, after steadfast investigation, Houston police held a press conference announcing the arrest and charging of their prime suspect.

Patrick Xavier Clark has formally been arrested and charged with the crime.
TMZ reports that the 33-year-old applied for a rushed passport straight after the murder and put the wheels in motion for a flight to Mexico. Upon his arrest, prosecutors say Clark had said passport and a notable sum of cash on him.

At the press conference, police stressed that, while almost 30 people were in attendance at the party, most have yet to provide a statement.
Prosecutors have moved to hold Clark on $1 million bail.
