In the same week that the track made its debut atop the Billboard Hot 100, it also made history on the market-leading streamer.
For, after accruing a colossal 115 million streams, ‘Flowers’ has delivered the most streams in a single week in Spotify history.
It means Cyrus has broken her own record, which she established last week when the song premiered with 96 million streams worldwide.
Suffice it to say, the out-of-the-gate success of the track has set up a firm foundation for its housing album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ – which arrives on March 10.
As reported, the LP serves as the singer’s first for her new label Columbia Records.
