While the world continues to speculate on the true nature of August Alsina and friend Zu‘s relationship, the duo are looking to redirect the heightened attention to their musical endeavors.
Since announcing his love for Zu, Alsina’s unleashed multiple tunes – some of which are expected to line what is believed to be his forthcoming final album.
Now, he’s joined forces with the rapper to lift the lid on the music video to their duet ‘2 AM’ – a slow-burning cut that sees its performers trade verses about being up late because someone special is on their minds.
“Baby let me know what you doing / Tell me who else on your mind? / I ain’t gotta tell you, you already know / That it’s you that is always on mine / I get flashbacks from the last time / I was in your body, it’s divine,” they sing.
