Beyonce Breaks the All-Time Record for Most GRAMMY Wins

Published: Sunday 5th Feb 2023 by Rashad

As reported here, Beyonce – the most-decorated singer in GRAMMY history thanks to 28 previous wins – entered the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards Sunday night (February 5) with nine nominations for work found aboard her seventh solo studio album, ‘Renaissance.

Making her the night’s most-nominated act, the additional nine nods also put her in the race to become the most-decorated act overall if she could snag at least four of the nine categories she’s nominated in.

Before the first hour of the GRAMMYs reached conclusion, she’d already won 3. By the end of the second hour, she’d broken the record.

By the end of the pre-show, Beyonce had swept up two awards: Best Traditional R&B Performance (‘Plastic Off the Sofa‘) and Best Dance Recording.

She later went on to collect the Best R&B Song trophy, a historic feat that saw her song ‘Cuff It‘ defeat competition from the likes of Mary J. Blige‘s ‘Good Morning Gorgeous,’ Muni Long‘s ‘Hrs & Hrs,’ Jazmine Sullivan‘s ‘Hurt Me So Good,’ and PJ Morton‘s ‘Please Don’t Walk Away.’

With the latter triumph (her fifth in this category), she extends her reign as the most-awarded act in the history of the Best R&B Song offering.

That’s not all, folks.

Before the end of the night, she surpassed Hungarian-British orchestral and operatic conductor Georg Solti for the honor of most-awarded act in GRAMMY history overall when she picked up the Best Dance/Electronic Album trophy.

Beyonce now has 32 career trophies to his 31.

Bey paid a lot of money for more than half of those awards. She deserved to be the most awarded as a result.

Its really sad how Dame Dash and Aaliyah was about to be the music power couple until Jay Z and Beyonce sacrificed Aaliyah and then robbed Dame Dash to get even more money and power.

just for nights like this and all day tomorrow when you’ll see every talk show and even news coverage sickeningly praising her like she’s God and the best person walking the earth SMDH.

      This^^^ all of it.

At least more and more people are waking up now, though. What she did and what she’s doing behind the scenes yet so blatantly in the public’s face is giving her a throne in hell with her name on it. Her days are numbered.

The Industry is very cut throat and unfortunately everyone isn’t built for it.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé might be evil but that’s how you reach the top.

Being soft or fair doesn’t work in this world. The most powerful men have stomped on any and everyone for power.

        Welcome to Hell on Earth.

Hmmm…now y’all know that lyrically “Hurt Me So Good” and “Please Don’t Walk Away” were better songs LOL. But I see that the Academy wanted to get her to history-maker status so they gave her this one. Best Dance Album was the one she deserved (and got) out of this class of nominations.
