Just weeks after being printed in GRAMMY history books for becoming the ceremony’s most awarded act ever (as we reported here), Beyoncé boasts a similar achievement in the NAACP Image Awards’ records.
Details inside.
In 2021, Beyonce made headlines when she broke late Pop icon Whitney Houston‘s longstanding record of most-decorated act at the NAACP Image Awards.
Entering the 2023 iteration of the award show as the night’s most-nominated female performer (across all entertainment genres), Bey ended the night by nabbing three of the five trophies she was nominated for: Outstanding Album, Outstanding Female Artist, and Outstanding Soul/R&B Song.
The trio of trophies bring her career Image Award total to 25 – the most of any person ever.
Adding to her already overflowing trophy case, Bey – one of the most-awarded acts in entertainment history – now boasts being the most-decorated singer at the GRAMMYs, MTV VMAs, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, and NAACP Image Awards.
