That was a great reminder of the strength of her music catalogue. Banger after banger. Hands down the strongest collection of bangers out of any female pop/rnb artist. She did well performance wise given her pregnancy.

There were rumors going around that she wasn’t attending rehearsals and I’m believing them now. Rihanna didn’t bring it like she should. After a 7 year absence I expected more from her. She’s been lazy can’t even blame that on her fetus. Even Katy Perry had a better halftime show.

After hearing all the criticism, I finally watched. And IMO, Rhianna and team knocked it out of the park. From the staging to the mix of hits, transitions, choreography, camera angles for effect. As others have said, her catalogue is VERY strong…

Best show in years. She looked good. The hits are endless. I got a little misty eyed when she performed diamonds. It was too short. It left me wanting more. I have watches it 5 times
She looks about 4-5 months pregnant so that means she got knocked up after accepting the sb gig… the belly was her saving grace for such a lackluster performance. I don’t think it wouldn’t been much better if she wasn’t pregnant. Rihanna just isn’t that gworl onstage….

It was still good in terms of holding its on against the creative sets of the past. Every SB is different and that’s the main importance to me.
Is this in the top 10 no but neither is Janet’s WACK performance (even minus slip up) and she’s an actual known performer.

What a lame way to go out. Just as she came in. Barely any progression in her performances, lackluster energy, mid to bad live vocals. A true representation of what NOT TO DO when it comes to live performances

Rihanna was never a great showman, but took the gig knowing she was knocked up again like an alley cat and was able to use it as an excuse to not move at all. Because it’s the perfect excuse.

The game s^cked after the half-time show, Philly THREW the game in my opinion, but before that you had that lame @ss “non-show”. I should have figured Philly was going to lose because Rihanna’s “performance” was a precursor to what was to come.
I was soooo underwhelmed. As an almost 20 yr pop veteran Rihanna should be owning any stage she touches. She claims to be this bad b**** but I’ve yet to see that translated on stage. You can tell she doesn’t care and the retirement rumors don’t seem too unfounded after watching that bland mess. Oh and by the way pregnant women aren’t disabled! Pregnant women still work out, run marathons, swim and do normal everyday things! Asking for Rihanna to gibe more energy wasn’t an unfair request smh…. Take y’all L Navy.
