Bad Bunny has found himself in some hot water. For, he is now being sued by an ex-girlfriend over the alleged unapproved use of her voice in his songs.

In documents viewed by Pitchfork, Carliz De La Cruz Hernández is suing Bad Bunny over voice a memo saying “Bad Bunny, baby” that was ultimately used in his 2016 song ‘Pa Ti’ and then again on ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’s ‘Dos Mil 16.’
The lawsuit was filed in Puerto Rico and she is seeking $40 million as compensation she says she has not received for the usage of her voice.
“Thousands of people have commented directly on Carliz’s social media networks, as well as every time she goes to a public place, about ‘Bad Bunny, baby.’ This has caused, and currently causes, De La Cruz to feel worried, anguished, intimidated, overwhelmed and anxious,” the lawsuit says.
Bad Bunny’s label and manager are also named in the lawsuit.
There has been no word from Bad Bunny at this time.
