There appears to be more drama between Shakira and her ex-husband Gerard Piqué, because they have seemingly shaded each other online.

In a new interview, The Cut reports that Piqué did an interview, where he said: “My ex is Latin American, and you don’t know what I’ve gotten on social media from her fans. These people have no lives. Thousands of barbarities, and I don’t care at all.”

It appears as though Shakira allegedly caught wind of the interview, as she seemingly offered a response of her own. She said she’s “proud to be Latin American.”

The news comes on the heels of reports that Shakira and her ex’s mother got into an alleged altercation after Shakira found out her mother-in-law helped her son hide his affair.
