Doja Cat‘s new single has made quite the splash on the charts.

Taking to press, Billboard announced this week’s Hot 100 chart. Found on the chart is Doja Cat’s latest single, ‘Attention.’
The song made its debut at #31 on this week’s chart. As a result of its strong performance, the song has now become the acclaimed star’s 14th top 40 hits.
Among those top 40 hits, Doja has earned one #1 hit with ‘Say So’ and has further gone on to earn 7 top 10 hits in total.
The announcement that her single has reached the top 40 comes as she gears up to release her upcoming album later this year.

Attention is a dope song. It puts me in the mind of late 90’s early 2000’s neo soul rap fusion. I don’t see it being a true mainstream hit though. Doja is talented but people prefer her pop sounds.

Doja is NOT Original PERIOD! All she does is lift what others have done already & add a “gimmick” to it. She is very predictable. And I’m still waiting on Ms. Kelis to check Doja like she did Beyonce for being a copycat devil worshiping heaux.
