Kelly Rowland Shows Up & Shows Out
It may be over a decade since Ms. Kelly toplined a show in the UK, but the diva made it clear from the second she hit the stage that she’s lost none of her luster.
Slick, seasoned, and show-stopping, the superstar’s set delivered in earnest. From dynamite showings of gems such as ‘Motivation,’ ‘Work,’ and ‘Like This’ to epic takes on newer numbers such as ‘Finally’ and ‘Crazy,’ this easily qualifies as the highlight of our weekend.

Kelis Kills It
Kelis has long been hailed as being ahead of her time and oh did her Hoopla set highlight this.
Almost 25 years have passed since the eclectic songbird hatched her voluminous debut ‘Caught Out There’ and she hasn’t looked back since. Instead, she’s journeyed across many a genre – skillfully making a mark and maintaining a qualitative throughline each and every time.
The result saw her set fuse the best in R&B, Dance, Bashment, and more. Beyond ‘Milkshake,’ Ms. Rogers brought a sonic feast to the stage and it was all sorts of delicious.

Jamelia Returns
Here at That Grape Juice, we’ve long had an appetite for the brilliance of Jamelia. And not just her stunning Pop run, but right from her musical genesis. As such, no lid could contain our excitement when she kicked off her live comeback with her first-ever single ‘Money.’ Addressing the audience with warmth and appreciation, she acknowledged her hiatus and toasted fresh beginnings after severing ties in her personal life. The set that followed thrilled – making apt stops at the various highs of her incredible run. From ‘Thank You’ to ‘See It In A Boy’s Eyes’ to three (yes, three) renditions of ‘Superstar.’

Nadine Coyle Shines Aloud
If there are two things Nadine Coyle knows without a doubt: it’s: 1) how to slay a stage and 2) her audience.
Vocally astute and hilariously relatable, the Girls Aloud graduate delivered a compelling set that all at once served up Pop fierceness, genuine LOLs, and enough hair whips to send a welcome wind-chill across a scorching Saturday afternoon in Brixton.
Powering through hard-hitting anthems of her own such as ‘Go To Work’ and ‘Girl On Fire,’ Coyle embraced her Girls Aloud catalog and wowed with epic renditions of the group’s biggest bops.
