On the latest chart published from the Official Charts Company, Billie Eilish claims the #1 spot in the United Kingdom with ‘What Was I Made For’ and Dua Lipa followed closely behind at #2 with ‘Dance The Night.’
More impressively, the pair leads an all-star lineup of female singers to dominate the entire top 6 of the chart, the first time in the chart’s 70-year history that solo female artists have done so.
Followed behind Lipa is Olivia Rodrigo with ‘Vampire’ at #3, Taylor Swift’s ‘Cruel Summer’ at #4, and Peggy Gou’s ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ at #5. Closing out the top 6 is Rodrigo once again, but with her new song ‘Bad Idea Right.’
