For, the Pop diva’s ‘Barbie’ movie bop, ‘Dance The Night’ has officially shimmied its way to the top spot of the Official UK Singles Chart.

After weeks of being in reaching distance of pole position, the performer has finally clinched the #1 position.
The starlet jumped one spot to dethrone fellow ‘Barbie’ anthem ‘What Was I Made For’ by Billie Eilish.
Lipa earned her her 4th UK #1 with ‘Dance The Night,’ which joins previous chart-toppers: ‘New Rules’ (2017), ‘One Kiss’ with Calvin Harris (2018), and ‘Cold Heart’ with Elton John (2021).
The starlet becomes the first British female soloist to score a #1 on the coveted count in over a year.
Lipa becomes just the sixth British female solo artist to land four #1 singles, tying with Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora and Geri Halliwell. The quad is only bested by Jess Glynne (seven #1’s) and Cheryl Cole (five #1’s).
The win comes in the midst of the ongoing Barbie-Mania’ and as the Greta Gerwig-directed flick crossed the $1 Billion gross mark at the global box office and on the heels of ‘Dance The Night’ becoming the singer’s fifth top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
