Miley Cyrus has received some new certifications from the RIAA and there has been a surprising update on her album sales.

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Cyrus’ album ‘Meet Miley Cyrus: Hannah Montana 2’ album has now been certified 4x Platinum for selling the equivalent of 4,000,000 units in the United States.

As a result of it crossing the 4x Platinum mark, it bests the 3x Platinum certification of ‘Bangerz’ to become her highest-certified album.

Cyrus also received another album upgrade, because her album ‘Breakout’ has now been certified 2x Platinum for the sales equivalent of 2,000,000 units.
