Barely a month after hitmakers Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Nelly Furtado made headlines for an unexpected reunion, the former took to social media Wednesday night (August 23) to confirm they’re readying a long-awaited reunion.

On Instagram, Timbo teased the forthcoming tune to his 4 million followers with a collage of videos from the trio’s past performances.
“WE BACK👀👀👀🤯🤯🤯,” the video’s caption reads. “DA KING 👑 HAS RETURN !!!!”
As confirmed by the clip, the project – their first collective record since 2007’s ‘Give It To Me‘ – is attached to an official release date of September 1.
At writing, it’s unclear if the track will be a standalone single or the first taste of new music from Tim’s next solo album – his first since 2009.
Yes! We are here for it! Promiscuous and Give it to me are timeless songs!
Can’t wait! Got Diva so excited. Love me some JT, Timbo & Nelly 💅🏾 sorry Granny Janet, Justin doesn’t want to working with your old ass anymore. Keep dreaming!
I agree, Timbo has created CLASSICS for both of them (among others).
Give it to me, Promiscuous, Maneater, SexyBack, LoveStoned, My Love… and the list goes on. Those beats still go hard and sound just as fresh as back then.
Especially in the uptempo area, the scene is rather boring right now.
I’m so looking forward to it. And hopefully he works on Nelly’s next album, even tho I’ve always adored her music before and after the Timbo era.
Lets not and say we did?? #Sellout
