According to Twitter chart account Talk of the Charts, ‘Paint’ is leading the race for #1 on the Hot 100 chart dated September 16. The song is poised to rise two spots to claim the top position. Currently, the song has a 20 point lead over the nearest competitor ‘Fast Car’ by Luke Combs.
If ‘Paint’ manages to claim the #1 spot, then it would become her second chart-topper following the success of her 2020 single ‘Say So.’
The news comes as Doja Cat is gearing up to release her upcoming album ‘Scarlet’ on September 22.
