Just before turning heads at the 2023 VMAs with a stunning performance of her latest #1 hit, ‘Paint the Town Red,’ earlier this week, rapper Doja Cat sent her beloved fan base (affectionately called #Kittens) into a frenzy with a peek at the 15-song tracklist of her forthcoming album ‘Scarlet.’
Due on digital shelves September 22, the project – which also features the previously released ‘Demons‘ and ‘Attention‘ – is also home to the new song ‘Balut.’
“Ride a coattail, this isn’t my fourth meal / Dishes on my a**, still I’m thicker than some oatmeal / Glass houses, I don’t really like to keep my stones there / Oh, well, I’ll buy another property for four mil,” she raps on the Yeti Beats-produced jam.
Hear it in full inside.
I fear she lost me. I have not liked a single thing she has put out this era. Nothing had had and replay factor to me. Atp im not even interested in the album.
Winning. She never disappoints.
Her lyrics on the new album are so childish, those aren’t bars baby, all the singles feel like b and c sides
On what grounds. Compared to who? What is childish and what isn’t? Are you applying your opinion to male rappers too? Make it make sense
This is lit 🔥 I’m really feeling this era…clearly this album was therapeutic for her.
“It’s like taking candy from a baby.” – technically yes since this song’s title means a boiled egg with an unborn chick inside.
