As reported, clips surfaced of Petty and co hurling insults at the Migos member – while seemingly waiting outside his hotel.
Now, according to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, the move has amounted to a violation of a 43-year-old probation order.
Petty is a registered sex offender who spent four years in prison after being convicted of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl.
In light of his recent actions, a federal judge in Los Angeles has ordered Petty to serve “up to” 120 days on house arrest for “making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
Interestingly, it’s been confirmed that the order was not in any way activated by Offset or Cardi. Rather, it’s the public nature of the threatening actions
