According to Deadline, the film earned between $6-$7 million in first day presales alone.
For comparison, The Way of Water earned $5.5M, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 earned $6M, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania earned $6.5M in first day presales.
Beyonce announced the film last week, and it is slated to hit theaters on December 1.
The news also comes have Beyonce scored a seismic deal with AMC to bring the visuals to the movie theaters.

I truly hope she put this on Netflix, I did get the opportunity to attend her show in Chicago and was wow by every aspect of the renaissance tour and I would enjoyed viewing it again but would like to view it in the comfort of my home since I’m a elderly and wheelchair/walker patient. Please Mrs Beyoncé Knowles Carter, consider us that will have a harder time/way to movie 🎥 theater and could be more assessable in home by way of Netflix
