According to The New York Times, the movie earned $126 million globally and with $95 million coming from North American theaters and $31 million from 94 international territories.
As a result, the film has gone on to score the biggest opening weekend for a concert film ever. The record previously belonged to Justin Bieber and his ‘Never Say Never’ film.
The film focuses on Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour as she plays 40 songs from 10 albums. Tickets for the movie cast $19.89 as an homage to her birth year and her landmark album.
