For, it’s been revealed that Mimi’s festive classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has bulldozed a major record on Spotify.

The track, which was originally released in 1994, shattered the platform’s record for the most single streams in a day on Christmas Eve (December 24) when it racked up a colossal 23,701,697 streams.

In doing so, the anthem breaks its own record from last Christmas Eve, when it accrued 21,273,357 plays.

Serving as Carey’s 19th #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, ‘All I Want’ saw her shatter multiple records – including its cementing of the songbird as the solo artist with the most chart-toppers of all time.
