Nicki Minaj looks set to make a pink splash on the Billboard 200 with her new album ‘Pink Friday 2.’
Hotly anticipated, the project was unleashed on the femcee’s birthday (December 8), and, as reported, it’s sailing towards a historic #1 debut on the coveted count.
Now, on the back of ample buzz and the addition of further tracks, Minaj’s first-week sales predictions have been revised upwards.

According to a mid-tracking-week update from Hits Daily Double, ‘Pink Friday 2’ is now aiming for a sales launch just shy of 200,000 (199,000).
The sum serves as a jump from the 170,000-190,000 first forecast for the LP.
Should the number hold, it’ll see ‘Pink Friday 2’ become Minaj’s highest-selling album in almost a decade.
‘The Pinkprint’ arrived in 2014 and launched at #2 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 244,000. Follow-up, 2018’s ‘Queen,’ also opened at #2 with 185,000 copies sold.
