As if the January 12, 2024 arrival of the ‘Mean Girls: the Musical’ movie isn’t enough to get Renee Rapp fans excited, the singer-actress took to social media Wednesday morning (December 13) to lift the lid on news the first single from the flick’s official soundtrack will feature none other than GRAMMY-winning rapstress Megan Thee Stallion.

Just days after Meg first announced she would be tag-teaming with Rapp for the ‘Mean Girls’ soundtrack, the latter confirmed the new tune arrives to digital shelves on Friday (December 15).
As seen above, the announcement was accompanied with a peek at the single’s official artwork which features its performers showing off their assets in a room full of blonde mannequins.
‘Fault,’ the first taste of what’s expected to be a star-studded soundtrack, will come less than a month before the live action adaptation of the Broadway musical version of ‘Mean’ charges to theaters.
Led by Tina Fey (who reprises her role from the 2004 film), the movie also stars Rapp, Bebe Wood, Avantika, Chris Briney, Jaquel Spivey, Angourie Rice, and Auliʻi Cravalho.
