With over 65 Hot 100 hits and 100 million records sold to her credit, Dionne Warwick towers as one of music history’s most successful female acts.
For those stats and many others, the 83-year-old icon was among the 2023 class of Kennedy Center Honorees – a list that also included groundbreaking acts Queen Latifah, Bee Gees star Barry Gibb, EMMY-winning screen legend Billy Crystal, and others.
Hosted by GRAMMY-winning legend (and previous honoree) Gloria Estefan, the event continued its tradition of honoring individuals who have “redefined their artforms” while demonstrating “remarkable authenticity.”
A toast to that very notion came courtesy of GRAMMY-nominated R&B star Chloe Bailey, who was on hand to tribute Warwick with a stirring live rendition of the 1963 classic ‘Walk on By.’
Ahead of the ‘KC Honors’ airing on CBS on December 27, get a sneak peek at how Bailey fared with the timeless tune.

👏👏👏 wow she had class and wasn’t a complete s*** during a performance.
If chloe was SMARTER she would be as HUGE as GGGB Rihanna right now. The Talent is there, but nothing else is. 😆
Correction…
The Talent and LOOKS are there,
but nothing else is. 💯
I didn’t like this rendition at all. Was Nicki unavailable?
Say what you want about Chloe Bailey, but she reminds me of Tia and Tamera.
People always thought Tia was the sexier one and she was the “funny one” and she didn’t feel desirable. She went from Hosea Chanchez(Malik from The Game) to…who she’s with. You can see the low self-esteem in her chasing that man.
With Chloe and Halle, people act like Halle is innocent and demure when it’s the other way around. Chloe wanted to feel desirable too.
She will find her way and she has a voice.
Chloe is likable. She’s not corny. She just is a normal human.
Halle has 2 movies out in 2023 and here is Chloe still doing a cover of 1 song
Always happy to see the Bailey sisters shining and I LOVE the look for Chloe’s tribute. Perhaps she should incorporate a little more of the grown-up look next time around…
