Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer – mother of music superstar Doja Cat – sent shockwaves through the industry recently when court documents surfaced indicating she had filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, due to claims he had been physically and verbally abusive to them both (including knocking the rapper-singer’s teeth out).
After the ‘Say So’ hitmaker’s fans – affectionately called #Kittens – took to his social media handles in droves to say a few things on their fave’s behalf, he openly denied the shocking allegations.

In footage obtained by TSR (seen above), Raman reluctantly spoke on the topic but did deny the verbal and physical abuse allegations from his mom.
“I ain’t seen anybody in years,” he relayed before sharing, “There’s no story…there’s no restraining order against me.”
Reports speak to the contrary.
As we previously shared, the judge did grant Doja’s mother court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a more extensive solution but – despite Sawyer’s request – the Rap diva would need to file her own request for a restraining order to be protected.
Cat has not spoken publicly about the matter, but – according to Sawyer – Raman has also allegedly destroyed or stolen some the rapper’s property and has interacted with her in a “very degrading and demeaning manner” that often leaves her feeling “unsafe and traumatized.”
As to his assertion that he’s not seen Sawyer or Doja “in years,” her court docs suggest otherwise and even claim the most recent incident of him threatening to harm her happened in the last month.
I believe him. If he did need to hit Doja, I am sure it was warranted.
Paparazzi acting like they are police investigators. I wouldn’t be mad if he punched them in the face.
