Teased in earnest in recent weeks, the lid was officially lifted on the track – which lands on January 12.
The provocateur trumpeted its incoming arrival with a cover featuring him seemingly appearing as Jesus Christ on a crucifix. Check it out above.
Speaking on the track, Nas said:
“My new single is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time.”
It’s far from the first time that the 23-year-old has flirted with controversial imagery.
Indeed, he (in)famously, danced on the devil in the video for his single ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name).’
‘J Christ’ will be followed by Nas’ documentary ‘Long Live Montero,’ which premieres January 27 on HBO and the Max streaming platform.
