At long last, the #AG7 era is finally upon us.
Just days after sending her beloved fan base (affectionately called #Arianators) into a frenzy with news she’s ready to unlock new music, Ariana Grande has lifted the lid on the tune ‘Yes, And?’
Tapping producer extraordinaire Max Martin to helm production, ‘Yes’ comes as the first single from the GRAMMY winner’s new album reportedly titled ‘Eternal Sunshine‘ – the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s chart-topping ‘Positions.’
Ahead of the arrival of its accompanying music video at 7a PST on Friday morning (January 12), get acquainted with ‘Yes, And?’ inside.
The blond hair is a no and so is the song.
I do not like the song. I feel like it could’ve been written and sang differently.
Is it me or is there a Madonna beat on this track. Giving me some type of vogue.
I felt the same
Yes, it interpolates Vogue
Her attempt at renaissance? This is 🗑️
Renaissance is not a Beyonce original, 😂 she didn’t invent Disco, ballroom, vogue, or house music.
Now about this song, it feels like a warm-up, it’s not bad at all, just not a hit.
Not that she invented it, but when one global superstar dabbles in the genre, here come all the other attempts.
I like the fact that she’s taking chances with a new sound. It reminds me of Madonna somehow, with more vocals. I think it’s great, I will watch the video.
yes, flop!
The beat overpowers her whisper singing
I knew London town would breathe new air in her sound. Giving modern-day Holiday. . .it’s 1982 again. . .Madonna was reborn with better pipes. . .and God help my neighbors. 💃
It’s definitely radio friendly, I love that she’s exploring new sounds but I don’t feel like this is a good comeback single
A song lik e this requires a bigger vocal. Why is she giving musical theater?
I suspect futuristic/robot visuals
Scratch that.
It’s street black swan themed.
SICK (graceful) choreo! 💃
