A man who chooses the nightlife over romantic commitment is the subject of award-winning singer-songwriter Emeli Sande‘s latest single ‘My Boy Likes to Party.’
“You see cos my boy likes to party / I never see him when the sun goes down / And they say home is where the heart is / Then his home’s on other side of town,” she croons on the cut co-penned by Henri Davies.
Coming as a modernized twist on ‘Party All the Time,’ the 1985 debut single from comic-actor Eddie Murphy (produced by the legendary Rick James), ‘Boy’ shines as the latest single from ‘How Were We To Know’ – Sande’s critically acclaimed fifth studio album released in November 2023.
