Coco Jones Wins Her First GRAMMY Thanks to Breakout Hit ‘ICU’

Published: Sunday 4th Feb 2024 by Rashad

Coco Jones is now a GRAMMY winner thanks to her breakout hit ‘ICU.’

First brought to mainstream attention in November 2022 as part of her major-label debut EP ‘What I Didn’t Tell You,’ ‘ICU’ became the up-and-coming diva’s breakthrough single when it cracked the Hot 100 in March 2023 (a career-first for her). It later went on to top R&B charts and mark her first #1 hit.

On Sunday (February 4), the DJ Camper-produced bop became the first song to afford her a GRAMMY thanks to defeating Chris Brown, Robert Glasper, SZA, and Victoria Monet in the Best R&B Performance category at the show’s 2024 ceremony.
