After making headlines for sweeping the Rap categories at the 2024 GRAMMYs, rapper Killer Mike was swept away by the Los Angeles Police Department.
As seen in the video above (captured by our friends at THR), the Hip-Hop icon was handcuffed and escorted out of the Crypto.com arena by police on Sunday night (February 4) just moments after accepting three trophies: Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance (for ‘Scientists and Engineers‘) and Best Rap Album (for his sixth studio effort ‘Michael‘ released in 2023).
The victories mark his first since 2003 when he won for his feature on OutKast’s ‘The Whole World.’
At the time of this report the LAPD has not released any booking information about the star’s charges.
